Debra Wattenberg, MD
Our founder, Dr. Debra Wattenberg, M.D., specializes in cosmetic dermatology and performing procedures that reverse the effects of aging, while also identifying and treating early stages of skin cancer. Her cosmetic practice focuses on complete skin care and the whole patient. She designs individual treatment regimens for each patient and encourages wrinkle reduction by the combination of procedures and topical therapy. She believes the key to looking younger is healthy skin and healthy skin requires a healthy lifestyle. She has more than 20 years of experience with injections that reduce the signs of aging. Dr. Wattenberg also is experienced in the latest laser technologies including laser hair removal, and the removal of vascular and pigmented skin lesions. Dr Wattenberg continues to evaluate and incorporate the newest technology and products into our office.
Dr. Wattenberg is a graduate of the University of Michigan, holding membership in Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she obtained her medical degree and residency training, and was the chief resident during her last year. In addition to her commitment to our office, Dr. Wattenberg regularly teaches and lectures as an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai Hospital where she volunteers with the residents to share her surgical and cosmetic expertise. She is a board certified member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Surgery.
She has been featured extensively in the press and is a frequent healthcare contributor to “The Today Show,” and “Today.com” as well as a variety of other television and news programs. Her magazine and newspaper credits have appeared in all of the most highly regarded editorial magazines. Dr. Wattenberg also serves as a consultant to some of the leading cosmetic companies and has been awarded Castle Connolly’s “Top Doctor Award” annually
