Rosacea, a skin condition that causes redness on the face, mainly affects adults 30 to 50 years of age with lighter skin. The condition may progress to a persistent redness, pimples and visible blood vessels. The exact cause is unknown, but many factors can irritate the condition including too much alcohol, exposure to the sun, extremes of hot or cold temperatures and irritating cosmetics. We offer a variety of treatments that diminish the disease’s signs and symptoms of rosacea including topical and oral medications as well as laser therapy for treating blood vessels and redness on the face. Often, a combination of treatments is used, depending on individual patients’ needs.
